For Season Nine, who do you think will -Surprise, and really dominate, whether it be in OD, HC or BS, or all. -Fail to deliver on expectations/hype -Go from being a gun, to an ok/average player -Take the next step and become elite?
For me Surprise, and really dominate, whether it be in OD, HC or BS, or all. BR Hall - Probably won't make BS this season, but he contributes, is active, and shows promise, both with batting and bowling. I also would think that guys like Marto (Fittaman) will maybe not surprise, but do exceptionally well, and Marcuss (Deane) will also come through and take the next step, especially with his bowling. For some reason with no evidence I think JA Robertson (Lordeman) will also take the next step. Fail to deliver on expectations/hype Ames (Eds). He's been hyped up so much it's basically impossible to. Also think that El Nino (Torres) will do ok, but not near as well as people have hyped him up to be. Go from being a gun, to an ok/average player Davis (Danno). He's a great player, and on his day he's the best around, like, he'll randomly just blast 150 out of nowhere, but, I think these brilliant knocks will become further and further apart, and he'll start to falter, starting this season and finishing next season Take the next step and become elite? Hard one, but IMO it'll be Eggman. Just think he'll turn into a deadly bowler. Also think Flack (Iosefa) can return to the form of season 4, 5, 6, 7, and also improve his bowling. Benny (Read) I also think will eventually deliver on his post count promise, and become a dominant batsman.
I was posting that as you wrote that. Actually said that before I noticed that. Not reaaaaaaaally and sooooo what?
Don't let the thread become about that. Move on IMO; was a throwaway comment that deserved one reply at best.
Actually really agree with ALL of these. Especially Nick, forgot about him. Rumple I also think will fail to deliver. Will just leave that comment then
