    on the footy show Prince said he wants to be back by round 10 so he should be fit.

    NSW have got to be favourites if Thurston is gone. We're in deep $h*t. Prince's last full SOO performance was ordinary at best and so was his last full Test match.

    If Smith were injured, I'd pick Prince. But if Smith is there, I'd rather have Cronk based on familiarity and understanding between the two and also Slater, Inglis and Folau.

    And also because Bellamy obviously can't coach against his own players the way he can against non-Melbourne players.

    Mind you, if Thurston really is gone for the season, or even a few months the Cowboys season is effectively over in terms of success. There's no way in hell they'll be playing finals footy.

    Thurston said after the match that he might miss as little as one week's football, suggesting to teammate Willie Mason there was no doubt he would be fit for the ANZAC Test against New Zealand on May 7.

    Team doctor Kevin Arlett said that scenario was "a possibility" but added: "He's worried. I guess he's got fair reason to be worried at this point. We think he subluxed it. He may have torn his rotator cuff as well because he's very weak. We'll have some scans on Monday and we won't know much more until then, unfortunately.

    "It's anything from [a week] up until whatever at this point."

    Haha, already playing up the underdogs tag.

    NSW haven't won a series for five years, regularly pick the wrong team and have several positions with huge question marks over them. Prince and Cronk would both walk into the NSW team and the rest of the Queensland team is still vastly superior to the crap Daley and friends will serve up if you ignore the halves.
