So basically Ennis showed he can play with a halfback along him and Farah can't? Since in Origin they'll have to play w/ a halfback

--> Ennis Origin, Farah GTFO, m i rite?

    Wallace isn't a halfback.

Srsly, John Morris is the last man you'd want at 1/2.

Farah was playing with John Morris. John Morris = Liability in attack.

You can't say the Tigers deserved to win more. If they did, they would've won. They were too poor to take control of the game which the Bulldogs simply won through perseverance, so they didn't deserve to win.

Fair point. The thing is though, what more perseverance did they have then us? They made 3/4 kicks, we made 2/5. At least 3/5 would've been acceptable. We should've won it aside from the kicks regardless, but still
    \_/ perseverance.

It's really easy to just say that isn't it.

Goalkicking is part of the game though. It's not an uncontrollable force that robs teams of victories - having a good goalkicker and kicking well is all part of the difference between a good performance and a bad performance.

It often makes no difference at all but occasionally, like today, it proves the ultimate difference between two teams. Unfortunately it happened to be the day our regular kicker was out with injury.

It annoys me how goalkicking can play a big part occasionally, as it doesn't require any in game rugby league skills.

Also, Rob, is Dean Collis a goal kicker? If I remember correctly, when we flogged Melbourne like 34-8 a couple of years back, he kicked and was 8 from 8?

EDIT: It was 30-12, at Bluetoungue stadium.

Dean Collis was an excellent kicker as a junior and he's still quite a natural striker, but he has chronic ankle problems and they tend to get aggravated if he spends too much time kicking at goal, so he doesn't practice anymore.

Gallant kicks in the NSW Cup for Wests; usually does an okay job but he's not what you'd call a frontline kicker. He was a bit unlucky today in that we scored a lot of tries out wide but there's not a lot you can do.

In my completely unbiased opinion Galloway could do it.
