Wonderwall, Everlong, Seven Nation Army, Last Goodbye, Bittersweet Symphony, The Nosebleed Section, Mr. Brightside, My Happiness, These Days and Someone I Used To Know.

    No One Knows is #11.

Seems legit. Disappointed at lack of Arcade Fire in this list if so.

    EDIT: And the Libertines.

    Spot on I reckon.

Bittersweet Symphony doesn't deserve it though.

I'm kinda disappointed at the lack of Weezer but I guess it's fair enough. I'd imagine they would have a decent amount of votes collectively but not enough for a single song to get in. Casual listeners would probably vote for Island in the Sun/Buddy Holly whereas bigger fans would be more inclined to vote for songs off Pinkerton.

what irks me about that is they'd negotiated with the stones to be able to sample it and the stones got all high and mighty. it wasn't like tried to go behind their back.

Doesn't detract from the fact that it's a fantastic song.

Don't reckon Tame Impala will make it?

  11. Number 11 CJ Downes

I hope it's not Nosebleed Section and it's Killing In The Name instead.

Legit this list has let me down so much at the top end!

Yeah, it was a giant clash of egos. But the fact that the main hook of the song is 100% unoriginal means it doesn't deserve to be in there IMO.

  14. TBra TJ Bradford

Killing in the Name was 1991 unfortunately :(

  15. Number 11 CJ Downes

    Ah fuck.

I don't get how Hoods are this high though....

See: somebody that I used to know, then.

Had their chance IMO, was expecting them to make it somewhere, but they aren't Top 6 surely?

  18. TBra TJ Bradford

Wouldn't rule it out, triple j loves to ride impala cock.
