    Nah, I actually think it would be great, Roosters lack a good dummy half. I reckon he could handle it well, better than Friend and Aubs anyway.

    The more I think about it the more I want it to happen and actually succeed, surprisingly. :p I'm almost keen to change his position on RL2: WCE.

    I didn't watch the game. Did the Warriors play poorly or what? I expected 20+ Warriors win tbh.

    Did you watch the game... Pearce was gun again his long kicking game gets us out of trouble so many times. Plus we've got a good little hooker in Friend.. I'd much rather develop our talent than shift it around into positions they've never played in their career. Although Pearce did play about 30 minutes at hooker one game.

    Apparently not, who said by playing hooker he would stop kicking all of a sudden? Smith and Ennis put in kicks from dummy half or from first receiver all the time, he could even take on an organisational role from there as well if it meant playing Carney at halfback (although by this time next year Carney may even be good enough at halfback to do this himself).

    Point being Friend is fairly balls and Aubs doesn't help get you guys on the front foot with his dummy half service.

    Edit: To add to that Pearce has great acceleration off the mark and is fairly fast himself, if he did little darts from dummy half I'm sure they'd be highly effective.

    Friend is balls? I know I'm biased but to me he looks like a real prospect for us. Jaubs has been looking better although he still really hasn't proven much.

    As for Pearce you'll never be able to convince me that he should go to hooker over playing halfback so we'll leave that argument there.

    My biggest concern over Carney, Anasta and Pearce is having too many playmakers.
