    Rotterdam: Quarterfinals

Luka Popovic has crashed out in Rotterdam to Celt Andrew James, throwing away a one set lead that he had took commandingly at the start of the match. In the second set, James battled hard, using his powerful serve to trouble Popovic for once, eventually taking it to a tiebreak. In the third, James really pulled out all the stops again on serve, forcing his opponent to return into the net or get aced quite a few times. The New South Welshman was put under pressure on the second serve often, allowing James to swoop in and take the match. Bruce Force is also through to the semifinal stage, at the expense of doubles partner Chris Warrington. Force's game contained quite a few errors, but his opponent never really got going on the indoor surface off serve, a change from his usual tidy and reliable game. Second seed Ivan Ryabovol is the only one left, coming through in three against Os du Toit. The competition is indeed wide open, and Truman Lee will fancy his chances after getting this far, defeating Alex O'Driscoll. The doubles also looks to be wide open, with Reagan Wheelson & Os du Toit and Wes Welker & Gareth Weaver joint favourites for the title.

Bruce Force def Chris Warrington 6-4, 3-6, 6-4
    Truman Lee def Alex O'Driscoll 4-6, 6-1, 6-4
Luka Popovic def by Andrew James 6-1, 6-7 (4-7), 4-6
Ivan Ryabovol def Os du Toit 4-6, 6-4, 6-3
    O. Wood & B. Burger def by R. Wheelson & O. du Toit 2-6, 4-6
    J. Ridd & J. Logan def N. Gurupur & T. DeLonge 6-7 (6-8), 6-4, 6-3
    R. Cribb & G. Furball def by A. O'Driscoll & M. Burridge 6-7 (1-7), 6-3, 5-7
    W. Welker & G. Weaver def R. Hutchinson & E. Starris 6-3, 6-2
