What should we do with this?

  1. Cribbage RG Cribb

    Okay, I could start this up again next week. But the question is - do we really want to?

    We've got an outdated database, an injury simulator that's not quite exactly the same, semi-inactive team owners who'd slow it down and whole host of other problems.

    How should we proceed? Try to finish this season really quickly and then start again? Just start again now with retentions/new draft? Something else?

    As of now the biggest problem is probably the inactive team owners imo. There are lots of people waiting in line though, so perhaps we could hand over the teams to them, finish off the season in a hurry so people get an idea of how good/bad their players are, then start the next season with retentions.

    If there's going to be a re-draft without retentions then I don't think there's any point in finishing off the season.

    We're definitely not going to re-draft the teams and the continue the season. :p If there's a re-draft then we'll start over. And there will definitely be retentions next season (whether we start next season now or finish this one first).

    I think if there are loads of new teams we shouldn't bother with retentions. Kind of defeats the point.

    This was more directed at people actually involved already. :p If we start a new season and need new team owners or we continue this one and inactive players want their teams managed by someone else, we'll sort that out in another thread.

    Injuries and the fact that he's act crap at drafting players who are good when the draft starts to see him finish mid-table IMO.
