    Calling Zillman

This is a call out to Titans player William Zillman. For the past two years we've been trying to catch up with you for a chat about how things have been going since you left the Raiders for the Gold Coast.

The Canberra fans are still interested in you, but you don't answer our calls and texts.

What's going on? Are you embarrassed that you left as the Raiders' first-choice fullback only to struggle to hold down a spot on the Titans bench? You shouldn't be. With Josh Dugan's emergence you wouldn't be in Canberra's top 13 either.

    I lol'd.

  3. Wilson SB Wilson

    lol. So true.

  4. Sizzler WD Robinson

    harsh but true

    He's a better halfback/five-eighth than a fullback anyway though.

Was absolutely ruined by the two knee recos though.

  6. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

I'd take him at the Broncos.

  7. Cribbage RG Cribb

Watching him play I doubt he's be much chop at halfback even though he killed NSW Cup there. Sometimes players surprise you but he doesn't take me as an organiser.

That said, definitely better than McCrone, so he'd start halfback for Canberra IMO.

He's still decent at fullback, but until presto leaves, he wont hold down a regular spot

    1.Zillman
    6.Campbell
    7.Prince
    13.Bird

Should have been that from game 1.

  10. Cribbage RG Cribb

Obviously the best attacking combination but it leaves them quite brittle in defence with Prince, Campbell, Tomane and Toopi all big liabilities in the front line and Mark Minichiello pretty average when he's on too. Even Rogers is pretty terrible in D these days when he plays.

Zillmlan last line of defence ftw but :ninja:

    Disagree....

Bird being in the halves compliments Prince perfectly, a big offloading guy who will straighten things up.

If Prince had Presto outside him, after Prince's dummies, and he passes to Campbell, they'd be over the other side of the field....

    Titans are an odd side.

A Centre who's best position is 5/8 or fullback (Rogers)
A Fullback who's best at 2nd receiver (Campbell)
A Benchy fullback who would run on with 90% of clubs (Zillman)
A 5/8 who's best position is a back rower (Bird)

  14. Wilson SB Wilson

Titans are ruining Bird's career playing him at 5/8th.

  15. Julian BJ Taylor

I disagree. He'd start at the clubs with no good fullback....Souths, Wests, Manly etc etc. But at most he'd be a benchy or reserve grader IMO.

  16. Frizzed WC Welker

Not even sure he would start over Wesser the way he's been playing.

Wests now have McKinnon so it would be a flip of the coin.

Would probably only start at Manly or possibly even Roosters.

  17. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

90% may have been a stretch. He is definitely NRL standard though.

  18. Quarters J Quarters

The thing is though, Bird can do exactly that at Lock, allowing another attacking player on the field.

  19. Lukic L Popovic

    ye but SM said it.

  20. Alec AD Funkotron

Another way of looking at it is that Greg Bird is a scum, and Harrison is awesome. So Harrison gets first choice.
