    Any competition where the longer format of cricket is played. In CricSim we have the Bannerman Shield as the premier competition, followed by the Avo Lovers Cup for the 2nd XIs. Those two are competed for by clubs (Saders, Ravens, All Stars etc etc).

    There are also provincial competitions for both 1st and 2nd XIs (New Zealand, Britain, Victoria, etc), as well as a Regional series (North, South).

    Didn't really answer his question well. Bannerman Shield is the only "first class" comp really. Avo Lovers Cup (ALC) is 2nd class. They consist of longer/2 innings each matches. Horrigan Cup is the OD comp. Not sure if Provincial Comp is considered to have 1st class status but are not included in first class stats...seperate stats are kept for them.

    I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

    Provincial games have FC status. So do Care Cup games and some provincial trials.

    Didn't know some of this myself. All this time I though ALC was considered FC as well. Makes sense that its 2nd Class though. Cribb, I vaguely remember you saying something like Asian province wouldn't get FC status. Is that the case? Would we come under 2nd class instead?

    Asia has got PC status in the coming season, so should be counted as FC.

    Before this it was being counted as SC or Miscellaneous games.
