Season 4 Discussion Thread

We're up to the finals I believe, and due to the rules that you must have played in previous games to be eligible, I believe you, like me may have to wait until next season. Until then, we've got more rep and the finals to follow.

Still only officially have Vic, NZ (not NZ A) submitted (though Asia just need to post in the official thread). Still, the way things are looking at the moment, we're gonna have a round of defaults.

Working mine out now, will be in within half hour or so.

    Sorry bro

S'alright - everyone's still within the deadline at the moment.

    Will do mine after breakfast.

All lineups other that NSW are in. Asia win by default.

Haha fuck, I haven't even been home (thread to confirm). I'm actually online right now though, can I name it now?

Ooh. I dunno. What would you do for CricSim? Serious question. If you'd usually let one slide, then go ahead. I'd definitely rather not have defaults. Next time though, definite default.

The best compromise would be let NSW play if Cribb sims offseason finals in the next 24 hours.

I let a couple of teams slide last season. Stickies more than once I believe.

But basically yeah I'd make sure there was a game regardless. Is there actually a competition ladder for this season? Dock us a point or something if you want to make an example out of me but not having the game at all would be rough IMO.

I mentioned it multiple times both in the nsw subbie and in your welcome back thread.

Yeah, I was aware I had a lineup due soon, thanks to your posts. I wasn't aware of this though:

There's a difference between knowing you have one due and being aware of the specific threat/instruction.

Righto. On that basis, a one strike and you're out policy will apply. This being NSW's first strike. Given there are 6 Provincial games this season, then gaining your strike probably isn't a good thing.

Get your line-ups in on time = no penalty
One line up late = lose a point
Two line ups late = forfeit

I might have a seperate Line Up Deadline Announcement thread. I didn't want to do that as there's already too many sticky threads in this sub-forum, but it may help highlight my rather random deadlines.

dammit that was our chance to get a point

tbph we should get the default win because of the number of times people have been warned and he has said that he will award defaults if people didn't submit lineups. To go back on that isn't really right - the difference with Cricsim is that the lineup thread says that multiple offences will result in points deduction, whereas Heef has said that a single offence would result in default and then didn't carry through with his threat.

Yeah, actually agree. Pretty sure if it wasn't Cribb it would have been a case of "sorry, you lose"

You should change that sentence to read: Please Heef and Cribb, infract the shit out of me for nagging about simmage!
