Essentially I would have anytime between 7am and maybe 7pm AEST Am down for whatever Probably don't have the time to learn enough to be a good DM if we want to start soon.
Steve, pick 3.5e or 4e. In the interests of trying to get this running quickly I'll just step up and say I'll be DMing. That gives us a few days to set characters up and maybe get a Saturday afternoon start?
if you do 4e might be worth discussing a subscription to dndi. Gives access to online char builder which yields 2 advantages: 1. Quick easy way to make the characters 2. DM has access to everyones character sheets
Much. the combat system is easier to understand, there are less skills ans everything is power based so it plays more like a computer game. 3.5 is much more complicated but as a result is more fun imho
Sif I haven't already acquired everything :ninja: I was just going to do everyone's character sheets once they've made their characters.
Haha. Easy way is to set an open password and get people to log in, make their chars on the builder and then log out. We do it in our group on the trust that noone looks at anything in the monster builder and just des what they meed and log off again
Ah I see. How did you get the character builder its an online silverlight program. Unless you got rhe shitty beta download version?
Races: Dragonborn, Dwarf, Eladrin, Elf, Half-Elf, Halfing, Human, Tiefling Classes: Cleric, Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Warlock, Warlord, Wizard Stuff from PHB2/PHB3 will be approved on a case by case basis. If you need a walkthrough of what you need to do let me know.
Lemme read through PHB2 to see how much it changes things and if the newer races/classes can fit without too much imbalance.
