They have that at my school to get 50k to spend on stocks who ever ends up with the most money later wins.
Been told about some gas company who labor stopped expanding into QLD, but can do is keen for them. They at 9c a share, ATM.
Yeah, i was involved a little. My dad bought me a ton of stuff about 6 years ago and we sold them all for profits. Now i just have CBA shares, bought them at like $12 per share, now there like $50 something.
I've got a portfolio of about 13 stocks at the moment. I am thinking of shaking it up a little, just waiting for the banks to make some ground so I can get out of them.
Getting involved soon. Parents are going to give me £100 to invest in stocks as I please. Providing I give them back to £100, I'll keep whatever profit i make. Then I'll most likely reinvest that.
Still a little to volatile for my liking. I've been buying into silver lately as a long term investment.
Most of my holdings are invested in funds, because of tax relief and because I don't want the hassle of individual stocks. Most of my money is concentrated in Asia and Latin America. Reckon that's where the long term money is to be made.
