It's a nice sunny day here at James' Place for this match up between the Crabs and the Hurricanes.

Ed Ames smashed by Herr Burger. Great tackle. Looks like a turnover for the Crabs here. The whistle blows. Howe has been penalised for Hands in the Ruck.

The ball is quickly distributed wide to Al Son. Son has a good run down the line but passes back infield to Weaver under pressure from Phlegm.

Weaver pushed Phifteenplus away and offloads one-handed to Fung. Fung's through. No one to stop him.

Daniel Speirs snuffs out a good Hurricanes move with a big tackle on Tom Clough. A good hit on the torso and Clough drops the ball.

Phlegm hammers the ball back downfield.

Chris Raftery pulls up lame. He looks in some difficulty. Furball comes on to replace him.

Meanwhile, a scrum on the halfway line to the Hurricanes is turned over due to a great thump from the Crabs' front row.

Penalty taken by Phlegm. That's a line out 30m into Hurricanes territory.

Deep throw from Volt Man taken by Zinzan Brumby.

The ball is spread out to Somerset who spots the hulking figure of Cattwat and bursts round him.

Somerset passes to Furball. Chance of a break?

No - good tackle from Himann, but Man and Hurricane secure the ball for the Crabs.

Brumby picks the ball from the back of the ruck, and runs headfirst at the defensive line. He's picked out Glensor, who wraps him up. He's isolated and Cattwat secures the turnover.

Pilgrim with the box kick upfield off the ruck. He's overhit that, but it bounces once before landing in touch on the halfway line.

Great tackle by Herr Burger on Jason Denton sees the Crabs turnover from a dangerous position. The Canes were only 10m from the line, and Denton saw the opportunity, but Burger was wise to it and he ticks his key tackle count up by another one.

Somerset tackled by Torres. Somerset is penalised for not releasing the ball. Great support for Torres from Denton.

Pilgrim with the penalty. Whoops, he's tried for too much distance and he hasn't found touch.

Phifteenplus gathers the ball and runs up for the counter. Another good opportunity for the Hurricanes is wasted.
