I really thought Ben Rogers would amount to something when he debuted for Penrith, sad he never got it completely together and had to end it early.

Willie Tonga - Was an absolute beast in 2004, couple of serious injuries robbed him of that explosiveness.

Wade McKinnon - Much the same, lost that yard of pace.

Jerome Ropati, Taniela Tuiaki, Terry Campese, Ali Lauiti'iti.

Such a shame campo never got a prime. Was a weapon there for a while.

I also wonder where Tariq Sims would be if not for those two shocking leg breaks, he's still going well and has time to get even better, but they really set him back.

    Imagine Hodges with normal hamstrings/Achilles.

    Immortal.

Has Dave Taylor been mentioned ....I'm imagining he would have. Loads of talent, raw skill and power

just has a fucked up head space. Could have been anything......

and maybe it's too soon, but

in a season or two, I think we'll see Jason Taumalolo's name in this thread.

Going to Souffs in that era was career suicide.

I can remember Sinclair as being one of a handful of centres I used to hate when Broncos played their teams.

Up there with Michael Buettner, Matthew Ryan and Graham Mackay; would always carve us up.

    Graham Mackay was a winger,

Is it too early to say Greg Inglis?

Really lacks involvement, the fullback role thr-usts him into it more than the centre position ever did but it still just doesn't come naturally to him.

He should be dominating games like Jaryd Hayne & Thurston have at club level but I can't recall him every stringing together a run of games like they have even once in his career.

People also criticise the QLD halves & the QLD coaching staff for not getting him more involved in Origin games but he sees as much good ball as any other centre out on the field, probably more. It's the consistent theme of him struggling to get involved that's the biggest contributor for his less than expected impact on Origin games.

He could've been an immortal IMO.

Disagree I think Taumalolo will continue to get better.

He was a centre at the chargers.

Garbage. 2012 and the first half of 2013 easily count as stringing together a run of dominant performances.

    that haha ^

Still reckon he should have stayed smaller rather than bulk up, swear he lost a heap of athleticism.
