    Nah I'm happy with how it is and I dont believe any kicker will deliberately miss a field goal in the hope of a pen.

    Refs need to have the balls to call these pens for offside but also penalise any sleeper who moves off his line to take out an on-side defender, which also happens a lot.

    Hypothetically if a field goal is successful it's landing behind the goal posts which would mean a penalty from 10 out in front of the posts, no?

    Only if there's foul play on the kicker, not for offside. In which case yeah a pen right in front.

    I’m fucking seething.
    We’re almost definitely out of the finals now.
    Because the cunt decide to give our opponents the game on a call that never gets called, and then as if to prove that point, they give our next opponents the game by not calling it.

    Even Tits v Roosters with their finals hopes both hanging by a thread.

    They have to get away from this crap surrounding optics. Something looks rough, so they end up penalising/reporting/sinbinning. Val's 1st point of contact on his hit was 100% on the upper-arm/shoulder. The whiplash is what made Moses' face go forward into the shoulder. And the idiot in the bunker says: "direct to the head" yet Moses doesn't go to the head-bin.

    Arthurs getting charged is ridiculous. How can he adjust when the guy suddenly drops to the ground following the pass? It does look bad when played in slo-mo, beaches it makes it look like a decision.
    Funny thing is, if Taffe holds onto the ball, he likely has an arm up to protect his own head.
