    Obviously early days still but it looks like I overestimated the Warriors and possibly Manly and Easts (though they'll improve from their current positions, unfortunately) and under-estimated Cronulla, Penrith and possibly Parramatta. Don't think the Tigers and the Titans are the Bottom 2 either.

    That said, it isn't the worst ladder prediction at this stage.

    I seriously overestimated Manly, and probably underestimated the Raiders and Rabbits, but time will tell.

    The ladder as it is right now looks about right for mine as far as a top 8 goes, with the exception of Eels possibly dropping out completely for the cap stuff. I think the following will make it:

    Cows
    Broncos
    Sharks
    Storm
    Eels*
    Raiders
    Bulldogs


    Raiders really should be helped by a fairly soft draw and lack of origin interference and end up at 4 or 5. While I think the dogs are no threat whatsoever, they have a knack of just ticking along under Des. From there its pretty open for any of the remaining teams to find a bit of form during/post origin and scrape in, although I'm all but certain it won't be Dragons or Knights, pretty sure they'll be the bottom two sides.

    Surprisingly Titans and Penrith look the grittiest of the current bottom 8 sides, with the Titans in particular having a lot of positives to take out of the season thus far, but I don't see them getting there.

    I'm not even totally convinced the Roosters are out of it just yet. They could go on a bit of a run with troops back, Pearcey probably missing origin and Eels possibly being booted down may open up an extra finals spot.
