Apparently Josh Morris is in major doubt after injuring himself at Blues training today. He could well be ruled out tomorrow.

You'd have to think Jack Bird will take his spot.

    Please be true.

It's Daley remember. *Walker to centre, Bird to bench

I think I'd still see that as an overall positive actually.

Overall perhaps. Not in comparison to what should happen if the situation presents itself.

    Expecting Leilua.

  7. Cribbage RG Cribb

Would also be a positive unless they stuck him on the bench.

Leilua's chances will be hurt by Stuart not releasing him to the Blues camp. Wait, I thought Sticky would love to have another rep player in his side. *rolls eyes...

Confirmed: Walker to start, Bird comes onto the bench.

Fuck I would have loved to see Inglis running at fucking Leilua.

I don't know how I feel about Walker in the centres. I guess I'd say he's mediocre. Tbh I don't think he's even in the top three centres just in this side let alone all of NSW.

They might get a bit more venom in attack with Walker out there, but Inglis should give him a bath.

Yeah it could be bad. Really bad. Has the potential anyways...

Been pretty disappointed with Tamou 's form in Origin tbh. He was fairly ineffective in Game 1 and in quite a few Origin matches he's been sub-par. The lack of drive after first contact is something he needs to fix as the dearth of penetration renders his size essentially meaningless. 6m per hit-up is not good enough and it's the primary area in which NSW have a distinct advantage.

The initial overlooking of Frizelli speaks volumes to the NSW selectors indecision. Graham played two games from the time the game 1 sides were selected, where Frizzell was deemed ahead of Graham. What changed over those two games to put him ahead of Frizzell? I doubt very much that something happened in camp with Frizzell for game 1, he'd been in and around the system for a while.

I look at the side and think, if we were to lose and Daley walked/got the flick, there could be a big rebuild in game 3. Unfortunately though I daresay we'd see them drop Bird, Frazzel, Maloney, Farah and Moylan, rather than Reynolds, Walker and Jackson. Insisting that Adam Reynolds is the long term answer and can steer the side, Josh Jackson is the future NSW captain etc etc, they may well jag a win in a dead rubber in Sydney and we'll come in to 2017 with the same (perhaps worse) problems as they look to 'pick and stick with the side that showed how to beat QLD in game 3 2016'.

There are so many people who want a mass exodus and a rebuild. Oddly enough, it's directed at some of the more proven and reliable Blues players. Gallen, Bird, Farah etc. Even Kent has jumped on the bandwagon and of course Gus has been calling for Gallen to go for a while now. Personally, I don't get the selfish vibe in his demeanour but I do see the argument that he overplays his hand either by taking too many runs or by getting involved in shifts when he's not equipped to do so. Those things, though, are quite fixable and to some extent have been fixed.

Farah, I do think plays for himself and is one of the biggest fuckwits in the game. Sort of like Jarryd Hayne. But like Gallen, Farah is still the best available option.

Why they want Bird gone I have no idea. Apparently being in a team which loses all the time is reason enough for these three to go.

I reckon the majority just want to smash the whole system with a sledge hammer and see what happens. If it goes bad, as it most likely would, well hey at least they tried something new.

Dylan Walker is the perfect example of this.

I don't actually mind losing series, of course I'd prefer we win, but if Queensland are just better there's not much we can do. The thing I can't stand is continually losing series and not picking the best players available.

Most people were calling for Jack Bird in game 1, especially once Dugan went down, everyone knew Dylan Walker on the bench was a stupid move. He was brought on for a pointless burst and failed.

Game 2, even more people calling for Jack Bird, Joz goes down and we put Walker on, who was totally inept, Bird slots in off the bench and outplays Walker in about 3 minutes.

I think no body thought Adam Reynolds was the best choice, sure enough he comes out in game 1 with an absolute abortion of a performance.

These little things that most people with half a brain identify as weaknesses before the game, turn out to be so and may very well make the difference in those tight games like game 1. Drives me up the fucking wall
