Not a fan of referees sending up a video ref review when they know it’s not a try just because they want to confirm their decision.

You can’t do it anywhere else on the field so you shouldn’t be allowed to do it just because the ball happened to be in the in-goal. Bad refereeing.

Grant Atkins is having a shocker.

Penalty for shoulder charging fresh air.

Braith Anasta trying to justify Souths decision to let an ageing Adam Reynolds go because they need to lock up Cody Walker who is “their future”. They’re literally born 6 months apart and Walker is the older of the two.

I assume Anasta must poll well with some part of the demographic who watch NRL to still be in a job, I imagine the pub locals who watch the game on mute.

Really hope Walker can transfer his club footy to origin level this year.

The Shit Braith Says Twitter account makes the shit he says semi tolerable.
If Reynolds does go, since NQ are interested I'd like to see him at the Cowboys especially as it seem Morgan may be forced into retirement.

    Here comes the rot.

Fuck me Carrigan is such a dogshit defender. He can't keep getting picked to start.

Braith just regurgitates Facebook and reddit tripe.

At this point, Reynolds would improve at least 90% of the sides in the comp.

Love the experts hot takes. Fittler was saying he's missed a fair bit of footy through injury. He's played at least 21 games each year for 4 years.

Was in response to joey making good points about him being souths through and through and his playing style is well suited to an aging body.

He's overstimulated, trying too hard and thinking too much. The side is literally rotten. Dropping Him won't improve it.

I always wonder what long term damage can be done to a youngster by giving them a role in a struggling side that is beyond their current ability and then proceeding with it failure after failure because as a team you just don't have a better option.

Dropping him may not improve the Broncos overall output but could be pivotal for his development. Even just dropping his minutes and demanding a higher standard in output rather than a higher quantity in output which seems to be what hes providing at the moment would surely be better for his development.

I've raised similar concerns about Haas's development in the past as well. I think high performance in role always has to come first before you can demand greater volume and responsibility i
in work. Yet both Haas and Carrigan seem to have been asked for both from day dot and will never get the opportunity to slow it down and develop because they're always in a constant state of having to lead and deliver there's almost no time to slow it down and learn from failure.

Both Carrigan and Haas need severely decreased minutes until they get the horror defensive lapses out of their game. Haas should be limited to 50mins, and Carrigan 40. Bullemor should be the starting 13, with Carrigan off the bench.

    Keen for the Raiders/Titans tonight.

Feel like there's some value in the bookies odds around the Raiders, there's levels to this and tonight will be a bit of a wake up call for the Titans. No one does uncomfortable footy better than the Raiders and the Titans can be fragile at the best of times.

In the same breath would be great for the comp to see the Titans come of age tonight. But my money's on Canberra

Cowboys again playing like complete pussies.

Game pretty much played out how I thought. Titans weren't bad they created some really good opportunities just lacked the execution and composure at times to finish them off.

Raiders scramble in defence and ability to wrestle back momentum at key points was the difference.

Tino was absolutely massive and I thought Fifita was good too which is a really good sign moving forward knowing your big guns will fire against top opposition.

Really hope Titans push on with this and they're patient with Holbrook. They're comfortably the best run club in Queensland at the moment with plenty of Queensland talent for the locals to get behind which is a far cry from where they were just 24-36 months ago when lots including myself were talking about what a failure the expansion club had been.

I wonder if a fit Fogarty could've been the difference. Agree it would be great to see them comfortably in the 8 this year

The Titans matched them between the 20s but playing with no halves fucks you. With Taylor & Fogarty they score more than 4, especially given the possession they had.

Liked the Dragons all week. Knights without Ponga don't do much for me. Pearce is Daniel Mortimer.

Dragons weren't really impressive though. Knights lost their 1,6 and 7 and Klemmer + Saifiti picked up knocks.

Geez the injuries have been ridiculous this season

Yeah Newcastle lost both halves and their fullback before half time, and both starting props were fucked by the end of the game too (Klemmer kept playing but his knee was fucked). Noone wins like that.
