Right, basically, I have decided there will be a trading period. This will last from now, until next Saturday at 12.00 GMT.

These trades will work as follows:
    - Both players involved need to make an agreement to change clubs.
    - Both clubs need to be in agreement for the players to change clubs.
    - For the trade to be official, the President or HoR of each club needs to pm me with the details.
    - Each club will have 5 credits. These credits can be traded. E.G. Smith goes to the Worms in exchange for Brown and 1 credit to the Snails.
    - If a club has a credit left at the end of the season, it can be exchanged for +15 Points Difference. his could make the difference between coming second, and winning.

If this idea is hated completely, it will be called off.

Hmmm seems a bit too erly tbh.
Cant tell who's good and whos bad.

I am sort of liking the potential though if tweaked.

    Don't really like it tbh.

People have just got the teams together.. there are no stats and having people buy points seems a bit silly to me.

You cannot buy credits. You can trade credits in for +15 PD though.

  6. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

no but if people make no trades then they would have 5 credits and get 75 points from it.

Hmmm not sure about trrading it for PD.

Means you get extra points for doing nothing really.

  8. Eds E Ames

Yeh they would. Basically, you could go for the championship this season and build up the credits, or you could go for the long term and get the players you want.

But considering no-one has any stats and there arent any rankings no-one knows anyway.

  10. Eds E Ames

Post Count is a pretty big indicator tbh.

  11. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Even so... I don't like the idea you can buy a title...

I cant see many if any big players with "big post counts" leaving their clubs.

As I said too erly to tell.

Like the trades; don't like the credits though.

    Ye exactly.

If you have a good post rank your generally one of the active now, or from the old so have loyalty to your clubs, and hold a board position.

But if the credits were not there, there would be no trades. No player is exactly the same and if you wanted a better player for your lesser player, you need something to persuade them.

I couldn't think of any other way of cashing credits in other than Points Difference. Points is too much, and could make far too much of a bearing, so Points Difference is the way to go.

How do you suggest I played it?

Also guys, trades are the sort of thing to do in the "Other Sims". I know you guys treat it as a seperate sim, but at the end of the day, it is kinda helping cricsim. If this was to work very succesfully without any problems, then there could be a chance it was implemented into cricsim. I haven't spoken to Rob about this though so not sure.

If both clubs are for it and both players are for it as are the conditions of the first post, I see no reason for it to not happen.

CricSim has shown that this situation is exceedingly unlikely to happen regularly as we've only had one trade in eight seasons.

I don't really see how you could stop it anyway... if everyone involved agreed to it, couldn't both clubs just grant their players releases and have them sign for the other club involved?

Remove the credits from the first post, and the exact same thing is permitted in CricSim already.

So posts in these sections go towards skill?

Yeah, that's why you have RLSim and RUSim posts in your sidebar.
