Well there is always the trust card. You could have one club release a player, and the other one not release it, and in short, screw the other club over.

Another reason is, it will be very hard to trade one player for one player imo. And credits will be used alot in this. It is extremely unlikely that unless one player is in another position that a player would be traded without credits.

Then the other club could just resign the player. And if a club did that, no other side would ever trade with them again.

Personally I just think it's too unrealistic.

I couldn't imagine it ever being used in a proper sporting competition. "Well you finished equal on points with the team that went through, but they spent less money so you're out".

Exactly my point. Therefore this would just grind to a halt and nothing would happen trading wise. Trading just adds another dimension to the game imo.

This is just a really, really odd idea.

    What? Read my post again.

If the club release the player to get another player, and that player did not want to re-sign with that club, then the club gets screwed over and could possibly have no replacement.

How about perhaps a loan idea?

    Maybe for the future?

If a player is just getting put on the bench week in week out and a club is in need of cover then the player and the clubs could come to an agreement for a certain amount of games?

  9. Cribbage RG Cribb

It wouldn't happen though. You'd obviously make sure everyone agreed to it before you went through with it.. and your system has everyone agreeing to it anyway.

This is a thread for Trades not Loans tbh. I might make a Suggestions thread, and if anyone comes up with a very popular suggestion it could be implemented. You can start it up with your idea if you wish.

Fine I was just suggesting an idea seeing as this one was getting slated :p

But there should be a suggestion thread, like you said Other Sims could be used for ideas first.

Ok, but still, no player will be traded without credits unless they are different positions. I don't really know how to explain it, but at the moment, you cannot trade one prop for another prop without credits being used. It is pointless. One club will always come off worse. But with credits implemented, you could trade a credit and your player for someone with 200 posts less.

I actually like this idea tbh... however would need to have multiple season contracts.

  14. Sik_Slogga SLO Graham

    Yh, I like it tbh.

But as you said would proberly see alot more disloyalty with players changing around.

Also another potential problem could be the admins perhaps getting tired of redoing the subbie allocation if its even possible!?

  15. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Ye but thats why you only have season long loans.

Happy for people to change clubs, But I don't like the idea of using your unspent credits for points.

I would be well pissed if the Giants have an immense season and then some crappy team use their credits to overhaul us.

  17. Sik_Slogga SLO Graham

    Are there injuries on this?

If so perhaps maybe a quick loan could be implemented for perhaps 2/3 games or something?

  18. Eds E Ames

But tbh if the Giants have an immense season and some crappy team uses up thier credits, surely they won't be that crappy if they are on equal points?

  19. Cribbage RG Cribb

We ready to call this one yet, then?

  20. Eds E Ames

Pretty much. Just trying to think of a solution to some of these problems first.
