Squad depth is boring. You're boring.

  2. Gazza GJ Weaver

  3. Incey BC Jacobs

    Shami
    Gul
    Wagner
    Shakib
    Kallis

As far as 5 man attacks go you probably have the 2nd best. There will be a few blokes ahead of you due to the quality of the best 2-3 bowlers but your definitely have the most well rounded entire attack to me.

  7. morgieb MC Burridge

Add Duminy as a good 6th option and it looks fucking solid.

  8. Chewie JA Chewie

hmm I don't really have a proper fifth bowler

    Stokes
    Copeland
    Napier
    Samiullah
    Babar

For me with Bhatti or Aldridge being backup options. Probably get Napier to open and Stokes first change.

Yeah Duminy will be a factor in the second innings, and on turners. Having that sort of variety without having to change your lineup will be a big bonus, especially if I surprise everyone and have this comp run with CCS.

Really like Incey's side. Needs to find a way to get teh C00ps in the first XI though.

Fuck, Incey's bowling is better than ours.

We have Philander, but his bowling is more reliable.

    What's ccs?

    Cribb cricket simulator?

  14. Athlai JJD Heads

    Candy crush simulator

Solid attack, no stand outs though. If I'd have picked Junaid instead of Tremlett though, shit could have looked a hell of a lot fiercer.

    Keith Barker
    Dilruwan Perera
    Dillon Du Preez
    Tim Murtagh
    Chris Tremlett

Top 4 bats would be up there too.
    1. Chris Rogers
    2. Heino Kuhn
    3. Ed Joyce
    4. Younis Khan

Could happen. Mukund and Sohail on shaky ground in the trials.

I would have picked Heino ages ago, but he's been quite poor in recent seasons, I believe which put me off taking him as our keeper again.

Who exactly is going to be your last middle order batsman then? You've picked Hamish Marshall who you're unlikely to play, and aside from that a you've picked a spare opener, stacks of bowling reserves and a backup keeper. So it's either playing both keepers or batting an opener in the middle order. I guess Farhat could bat 5 or 6 without too much trouble, is that the plan?

I was going to run a few scenarios in the warm-up games to see if I can effectively play this line-up:

    1. Virender Sehwag (6/7)
    2. Imran Farhat (6/7)
    3. Mominul Haque
    4. Cheteshwar Pujara
    5. Ben Stokes (6)
    6. Naman Ojha (+)
    7. Graham Napier (4)
    8. Trent Copeland (1)
    9. Bilawal Bhatti (2)
    10. Zulfiqar Babar (5)
    11. Samiullah Khan (3)

Napier in theory should be a solid #7 and Copeland and Bhatti are both decent #9s and Babar a very good #10. This would be more of an effective plan if I had a decent spin-bowling all-rounder to drop out for Bhatti, but I've got 3 available 'spin-dobbers' in the top 3.

Planning on an associate pick for the last one, so I'm not expecting to improve the line-up at all.

Yeah I thought you might be rolling with that lineup originally which is why I was surprised you only listed a five man attack.
