I was just scrolling through Sportsbet and noticed they ave a market for WWE matches. That 's absolutely absurd to me that they offer bets on a scripted outcome. Anyone in the know could make money off that.
I remember at last years Wrestlemania they had just about every winner paying $1.10. Would've been a decent multi to load up on.
I haven't watched it in about a 2 years so I don't know half these people but here's some of the odds. Steel Cage Match John Cena $2.87 Bray Wyatt $1.36 6-man Tag Match The Shield: $2.25 Evolution: $1.57 Triple Threat Match RVD: $7.00 Jack Swagger: $5.50 Cesaro: $1.20
Given the nature of WWE & TV, you'd have to think betting on guys at 5.5 or 7 or so would be really good value, no matter who they are.
Or Sportsbet know people think like this and only allow people to place x amount of money on the short-priced favourites so that they still make money in the end regardless of if somebody in the know puts bets in.
It'd be really easy to bet on in general, you can see when certain wrestlers are meant to have a long dominant run, it'd be free money.
So how would you know that "you can see when certain wrestlers are meant to have a long dominant run"?
Didn't say you're guaranteed money. Just that it'd be easier because due to scripting you can predict a lot more. I don't bet anyway.
