    MFC would have said 'either accept the offer now or not at all' IMO. And I'd say Goody's realised that it'd be a risk to try and get the Crows job.

    Thompson was Sanderson's mentor and mate. He's already come out and attacked the decision, doubt he'd even consider it now.

    It'd be typical of him to leave another side in an ageing heap before bolting but I think freo have one more year of peak left before that so he'll stay.

    I really want it to be Tudor or Bassett. Would take Worsfold too, Bolton mightn't tactically be what we're after and he doesn't seem like the brightest star in the sky but we definitely need someone who isn't wooden and has some real character which he does.

    Yeah, true. I think they've made up, but they're certainly not as close as they used to be. I'm sure they'd love to work together professionally again too, because they're both some of the best in their field.
