    Well my old home PC is starting to get old and is having issues, plus I'd like to get a proper gaming PC and I'm thinking of building my own, but not really sure where to start.

    Was wondering if anyone here had done this before and had any advice of any sort. Probably looking at spending a couple of grand all up.

    I'm in the same boat as Arheiner. I have a few mates who are good with that kind of stuff that said they'd help me build a computer because they know way more about which parts are best for the money than I do. Apparently they can build me a really decent computer for ~$800.

    It's very simple.

    You can search up on google and find tips and shit.

    There are companies that you can just select what you want and they do it all for you.

    Will be able to build a beast of a computer if you're willing to spend a couple of grand.

    Need to seek out a;

    - Case
    - Power Supply
    - CPU
    - Motherboard
    - Memory
    - Storage
    - Video Card
    - Optical Drive

    Just go to a computer forum, tell people what you want and ask for recommendations.

    Logical increments is a pretty good site, pcpartpicker for prices, tom's hardware forums are useful and so is r/buildapc

    Tom's Hardware has a better community to help out though.
