Chelsea still need depth imo. But I imagine they'll do that this summer.

  2. Verigoat S Verigotta

    13 goals 10 assists from 22 starts

Its not bad for someone thats played a few games in mid and hasn't been the main striker/ set peice taker

They also had to reveal any major changes to the way the club is run because they're on the NYSE.

Plus had a fragmented season in an out with injury and the like. He was on a par with RVP over the xmas period imo.

Would hate it if he went to Chelsea. Would be stupid from his and Uniteds too... just can't see why we'd let it happen. He has the chance to make himself a club icon at United - he'd throw that all away if he went to Chelsea.

Not too bad actually, but I'd still prefer Lewandowski just because of the age and price difference, and Rooney's a bit more of a risk.

    Based off a single season?

id give my right arm to have wayne rooney in my team. the lad is different class.

Last season he was very good too, 22 goals in 34 games. This year he's taken it to another level though. He seems to be a player better suited to our style too.

Only thing I'm worried about with him is that Klopp seems to get the absolute best out of players and then when they move on they're very average, but I'd rather we took the risk on Lewandowski than Rooney.

I can't see United selling Rooney to Chelsea anyway, unless they give a hefty premium.

Very average probably wasn't the best choice of words haha, but they haven't been as good as they were at their Dortmund (maybe because of other reasons too).

Kagawa and Sahin are two that stick out in my mind. Kagawa's been decent, but not as good as he was at Dortmund and from what I saw of Sahin at Liverpool he wasn't all he was hyped up to be. I don't know about how well Petric was while at Dortmund, but he was very bad when Chelsea played Fulham (and since they got 7.3 million euros for when he went to Hamburg him he must've been at least decent). I know it's not a huge amount of examples, but there have been a few.

Kagawas been a lot better than average in the back end of the season, his movement, passing and devision making have been excellent, and given its his first season in a new country I think its unfair to say hes not doing well just because hes no longer playing under klopp

And Sahin was played completely out of position/role by Brent

Yeah fair enough. Next season will be a better season to judge them, but I'm just going by what they done until now which is probably a bit unfair :tongue_002:

Both Lewandowski and Rooney will be good signings for Chelsea. Can't right now see them getting either though. :p

It's been Kagawa's first season in a new league, he's been playing in a different position with worse team-mates. I think he's done well considering.

Sahin is because Rogers is a spastic.

How so? I'd take Gerrard over Sahin too.

  17. Cevno IV Narang

Better players ? lol. Sahin and Kagawa are both system players tbh and lacked in a little bit of physicality to adapt in Spain/England quickly.

Kagawa is just settling and has been used wide too. While Sahin can only play a deep role in midfield.

I'd absolutely love it if he went to City.
