    It will take me quite a while to edit all the databases though, so probably won't be done until May or so. But I'm fairly confident I can get it running.

    Aussie Rules CPL Version 2

    It's happening. Editing the databases now but I know how to do it and have tested it ingame, seems to be working fine. Going to be updating every single roster and every single player using a combination of my knowledge, some projections from SC/DT, and then I will use Excel to help adjust stats.

    • Re-install Footy Fanatic FX
    • Find out how to edit schedule
    • Recreate 2010 schedule (can't use 2011 as 17 teams not implemented)
    • Find personal details for all new players
    • Update each list to 2011
    • Edit every single player in the league and update all rosters
    • Manually do a trade week, swapping players in lists
    • Sim

    Estimated completion date: 1st June

    At the moment, I'm going through some testing with stats and stuff. Does anybody know if a player's overall rating has any connection at all with how well they play, or is it merely an average of their stats?

    It has some connection, but I've had 71/72 rated players dominate and 99 ranked players just be consistantly good.

    What do you mean by that? Will do season stats of course but career stats are pretty much irrelevant, no way I'm going through ~a month of editing every single player who has played in the last two years' stats.

    In the 2010 roster Pendlebury wasn't the highest rated but his individual stats made him a top 5 mid fielder.

    Ah alright, that's what I suspected. I'll run a few trials now and see what happens, but that pretty much confirms what I thought about it being just an average indicator and having no effect on gameplay.
