I'm pretty keen to reboot, got a sudden wave of keenness today. Not too keen to continue the current season purely due to inactive coaches. I'd be looking at a redraft, with some new rules designed at making it easier to sim. The league would be as big as interest requires. we could perhaps look at a low key retention scheme (with new coaches getting priority picks) like 3-5 retentions each if there's emotional attachment etc.. let me know if you're keen, under what format and any ideas etc.
So had an idea for the draft, but it might be a bit of work for you [MENTION=284]Skippos[/MENTION].* Basically, you take the drafts of the last 22 years (1992-2014)* and pick 1 player from each draft. This could be done in order or just people keep track. Just an idea, could be fun just as a draft thing. *Skippos would have to do the ratings of older players. *Add more years for a bigger squad.
yeah it's a nice idea, but just too labour intensive. Would require me to add in tons of players to a db (labour intensive!!) but the main concern is that I'd just not have seen enough of most historical players to nail the ratings. If I do it, I'd like to do it right - and I wouldn't be able to do that idea well enough to make it worthwhile.
I'm keen for a reboot. I was actually thinking of getting a post 2000 draft going and eventually if we end up getting a database with those players, simming it. The draft on its own would be fun imo. Definitely keen for CPL to get going again, any help needed with databases or anything im happy to help

I would be interested, but I'd need a helluva lot of hand holding again and that probably isn't in your best interests. Still gutted the last version won't continue with a glorious Gwilty promotion.
