Cribb has once said that CPL cricket has no influence on how quickly Cricsim will be back up. Surely this is bollocks. All the time that is being spent on this, surely some of that time could have been used to develop whatever else needs to be done for Cricsim. I might be wrong, i might be right, really i dont give a fuck. Im just saying, surely time could've been spent on Cricsim. And can you give us a realistic ETA ?
I said that when I wasn't going to the one simming it. Marcuss can't do it so I've taken over the simming, and obviously it does have a profound effect on the amount of time I have at my disposal for other things. So it wasn't lies; it's just no longer true.

I will say this though... That doesn't mean it would've, without CPL. Yes, I plan to get CricSim back up and going shortly, but that doesn't mean I spend every spare moment on it. I could've spent the time I've spent on CPL re-making that rugby league simulator I made ... or watching old re-runs of Perfect Strangers. When CricSim returns I want it to return properly, with all the bells and whistles. I don't want a half-arsed thing in place - I want a proper schedule which I stick to again with all the different competitions and a functioning stats website.
Yeah, i understand that side of things. Is there still a shitload of things that have to be done in order for it to be at the standard you want ? I take it there is no use putting an ETA on the return ?
Whenever I release a target or an ETA and then don't meet it, people get unjustifiably shitty about it and start threads every day informing me of the date. I'm not going to release a schedule or any sort of date whatsoever until I'm sure of it.
Perfectly logical to put off a competition that satisfies everyone for a competition that satisfy a few.
