That's just the 50th anniversary special though, which people have known Tennant is doing for ages. What Skippos is quoting is suggesting that Tennant is going to come back in the next series as the Doctor, which is something completely different.

jesus fucking christ that website is terrible. almost turned me off dw entirely for a while because of how many sanctimonious elitist (IT'S DOCTOR FUCKING WHO) all-round cunts there are there. like flat-out your average 14yo fangirl on tumblr shows a greater understanding and analytical ability wrt character and plot than many of the louder dickheads on that site, especially the ones who purport to be ~troo fans~ who have watched ~all the episodes~ yeah you might be a ~troo fan~ but you're also a fucking idiot so therefore i win.
now you're learning why i've taken on a "plot holes do not matter" policy. you enjoy things about five times more and you actually do focus on things that matter. like plot. and character development.
yeah i got bored about halfway through it tbh. the character stuff was nice, though, and i guess matt got to make a nice speech. looked pretty too. i think it was a new writer, might explain a bit. but hey, we're technically eight episodes into the "season", we were due a dud. so optimistic
I think there was one in the first block I didn't rate either. I just don't like it when an episode builds a good plot, only for it all to be solved in the last five minutes in a really unsatisfactory way.
that'd be power of three you're thinking of. yeah the pacing has been sketchy of late, sometimes good, sometimes... not. honestly i got bored well before then tbh, so that didn't bug me.
This weeks ep was a medium for me. Could have done with better pacing for me to enjoy it. There's a brilliant flounce doing the rounds on FB atm by some cunt who has quit watching the show. Can't find it on my newsfeed unfortunately because it would have been good to post for a laugh.
