Round Eight ended in a victory of the narrowest margins due to the heroics of Captain Courageous and all round good guy ZAF MacDonald. O'Neill played the game of his career of half back gathering 29 disposals and taking 8 marks. Evans was as solid as ever in the ruck gathering 20 disposals and 10 hitouts. The last round really did conclude our season on a note that it was worthy of. Absolute direness. The 26 point loss put us in the wooden spoon position. The match was dominated by Rask who ended the season on a high note gathering 21 touches, 10 tackles and 8 frees for. Lehmann also capped off the season nicely with a fine 22 touch, 6 tackle performance, Evans was also everywhere finishing with 25 touches and 10 hitouts but he had less influence on the match than he normally does. Votes: 3 - Rask 2 - Lehmann 1 - Evans Final leaderboard: 13 - Rask, Evans 6 - Dyer 4 - Con, Cribb, O'Neill 3 - MacDonald 2 - Parero, Anraad, Lehmann 1 - Narang
Well what a finish. We have joint Best and Fairest winners this season and rightly so. Both players were dominant all season with CJ Evans unlucky to miss out on All-Cricsim selection. You both have earned this medal and now I call upon Richard Cranium, our wonderful coach, to present the medals. *applause* KN Rask bathing in the glory That concludes the awards ceremony.
