Might revisit this as I'm bored. Will have a crack with the Dees, 2010 rosters. Ambitious goals are to win the premiership 5 years in a row, to have a player who kicks 1500 career goals and a player who gets 10,000 career disposals as well which will be quite tough.
Yeah, it's pretty tough to make the lists though. I might have a crack at 2012 lists for this game, no point doing them now though when we are already well into the season. Cameron Bruce is averaging over 37 disposals in the first 8 games of this season.. beast.
Bruce just had 53 disposals and kicked 3 goals against Brisbane in a three point win at the 'G. This man is unreal.
Decent season from the Dees to start our campaign. I was put in an uncomfortable position as to whether to go fully for matches or try and tank for draft picks. I ended up dropping to 10th, before putting out a full squad against the Tigers and finishing in 8th after the last match of the season. We took on the Saints in the elimination final but a poor performance saw us lose by 12 points, despite a late comeback. Cameron Bruce dominated, averaging over 34 disposals per match and kicking 18 goals for the year and I thought Jack Watts was also excellent, finishing second in our club goalkicking tally with 32.22 for the season. Some players like Scully and Trengove need time to improve but I'm confident they will get there eventually. Might look to trade out Trengove though for draft picks or other decent players. In: Bryce Gibbs, #1 Pick, Joel Selwood, Matthew Stokes, Rhys Palmer, Nic Naitanui, Cyril Rioli, Albert Proud, Trent Cotchin, Brett Deledio Out: Brad Miller, James McDonald, John Meesen, Jordie McKenzie, Addam Maric, Daniel Bell, Aaron Davey, Jack Trengove, Joel MacDonald, #40 Draft Pick, Paul Johnson, Tom McNamara, Daniel Hughes, Austin Wonaeamirri, Sam Blease, Rhys Healey, Jared Rivers, James Strauss, #72 Draft Pick, Clint Bartram, Jack Fitzpatrick, Jamie Bennell Starting fresh, lol. Edit: #1 draft pick is a CHF named Timmy Dibble. 197cm and 105kg at age 18, could have huge potential to dominate. Edit2: Pre-season match against Richmond, a pretty low-scoring affair that we win by 15 points. Timmy Dibble has 39 possessions on debut from 56 minutes of gameplay. If he played the full 80, then on a linear basis he would have had 56 possessions... and he didn't even kick a goal.
Oh man, haven't played this game for years. Remember I used to always trade in Amon Buchanan. He and Tim Walsh would kick 15 between them every game, while Jason Johnson racked up 40+ possies.
