I guess I rate keepers higher than the sim will. Was expecting test class keeper-batsman to be on peoples minds early.
Yeah the sim doesn't really have anyone in telling apart the quality of keepers ability with the gloves, so as long as their is a record of them keeping the only thing that matters is their batting ability.
Full-time keepers > part-time keepers But this has always been the case with CPL. There is no proper way to rate keepers ability with the gloves by stats alone.
There is no record of dropped catches so Kamran Akmal will be just as reliable as MS Dhoni in the sim. Jesse Ryder or any joker who has taken the gloves for one or two games but obviously isn't a genuine keeper WILL be worse.
