Haha it's hilarious - all the talk in the pre-season was about how the Gamblers were going to be shit because Lukic wasn't a good enough bowler to be third seamer and Hallett wasn't a good enough batsman to bat eight. They've blown that out of the water in Round 1.
Lol yeh. But really when you think about it they shouldn't! Hallett averages 17... and Lukic is a batting allrounder who has never played in the BS.
I don't think many people questioned Hallett as a number 8, more his bowling. Oh, his bowling was orsm too....
I am sure they will. Cyclones are not a shit team, they may be a lot weaker than last season but they still field a solid squad.
Oh I doubt they will, but it doesn't stop this being any more hilarious. Hallett's batting got them over the line for first innings points and then Lukic bowled them to victory. After all the debates for the last few months about these two players and their roles, it doesn't really get much funnier, even if it doesn't mean much.
