  4. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    I'm first, mate.

  5. Arheiner SIA Yates

And no-one mentions Rego for full-back, would probably rank him top 3 at least.

And Gemmell, Marcuss and me>You in Preseason. And Marcuss was out of position.

#8 is really interesting, because I think it's the closest position. Marcuss should be #1 and was a clear #1 in the first half of S4, but any one of Marcuss, Boobs or Arhein could take the #1 slot with a good start to the season.

Arheiner's return is a huge boost for Souths though.

What the hell actually happened to my form? No direspect to the other guys but its not like they stepped up in a big way. Its just my form fell off a cliff

NFI. Your form should have been good from the first half of the season, the random factors never change and I didn't change the sim.

Could be that you don't enjoy Provinicial/Regional action but absolutely beast Club level? It's the only time I've noticed such a trend.

Hard to play well at club level when you don't sign a club contract tbf.

Callum Laing is still number one on the Flanks, but it's looking pretty tight up top. Manera, Chung and Simon Laing are all top quality options, but whose training has been sub-par in recent times. I'd expect Simon Laing in particular to drift down the list across the season. In contrast, JD Hurricane and Siege Morgan have been improving in recent times, and the veteran Morgan is starting to show that he might be delivering on his potential.

Breakdown specialist Simon Humble is another who's starting to drift behind his undoubted ability which will be a concern for NZ and Souths.

After Humble, there's a reasonable gap to another group mostly populated by Crabs options. Brumby and Martyn are solid options and likely to remain so, whilst Jake Howe continues to underperform against what we'd expect despite solid training reports from the Crabs camp. Charlie Downes and Alex O'Driscoll are developing into this group but would probably need to train harder to break into it.

Behind them is another sizeable gap to 2nd grade veterans, developing players and rookies. Not much between any of these guys, but Paul Oz, Antone Sciappapetre and Brett Hall should improve over the course of the season.
