I thought the refereeing in this game was a disgrace. The two refs were so inconsistent with their interpretations and blew way to many penalties.

Dan Hunt is a useless sack of shit that cost us the game... twice.

Chase Stanley was ****ing terrible in defence, would of been better off playing with 12 men then him.

    End rant.

    Typical, blame the ref.

  3. Colesy BL Hornby

Did you not watch the game?

  4. Frizzed WC Welker

    Obviously I did.

  5. Colesy BL Hornby

Then you would of seen how shit the refs were, one ref was blowing penalties for a defenders pinky brushing the face of the attacker and the other ref wasnt blowing penalties for a forearm to the throat.

This went both ways as well.

  6. Frizzed WC Welker

I thought the refereeing was fairly spot on, sure there was a few calls which were terrible but that went both ways and I doubt you will ever find a rugby league match that won't have some sort of controversy to do with refs.

I just find it funny how no Dragons supporter has manned up and said we(knights) played better.

  7. Colesy BL Hornby

    Maybe because you didnt?

We killed you in the first half and stupid penalties and soft cocks in defence cost us.

  8. Frizzed WC Welker

Killed us in the first half ?

Apart from the two early tries you guys did sfa and the scoreline proved it.

A 14-6 half-time score with a strong breeze behind your back is terrible.

  9. Colesy BL Hornby

It always amazes me how people can think a strong breeze should equal more points.

Our defence is what wins us games and Chase Stanley ****ed up and let Mad Dog score, and the set before that bullshit penalties piggy backed you down the field.

We lost that game, you didnt earn the win we gave it to you through stupid penalties and Dan Hunt **** ups.

  10. Frizzed WC Welker

The errors and penalties were fairly even, we just capitalised on chances more than you guys did.

Strong breeze doesn't necessarily mean more points, I'm just saying we utilised it far better, which eventuated in more points.

  11. Magic AJ Parker

Newcastle deserved to win but it doesn't matter Finchy will be joining soon right?

  12. Pretzel P Retzel

Strong breeze usually equals more points because you will gain more metre-age on kicks whereas the opposition will struggle. If you have a good kicker in the side you should dominate field position and convert it into points. So yes, it should equal more points.

    Lol @ colesy crying.

  14. Fungus K Fung

    Agreed.

We weren't down at your 20m for too many times, but when we were, we took the opportunity and scored - we just converted it. While you guys had heaps of chances at our 20m and didn't convert the majority of those.

And what that shows is that you guys aren't a good defending team.

What that shows is that we can hold our own quite good in defence.

  15. Frizzed WC Welker

Also where was Ben Hornby in this match ?

  16. AVA T Delonge

    LOL @ COLESY!!!

So Knights didn't play as good as the Dragons, they just played better than Dan Hunt and Chase Stanley? You go off the whole team performance bud. You can't just say the Dragons were better apart from 2 players.

  17. Hybrid A Kolar

Eels lost because Todd Lowrie played bad. :ninja:

  18. Frizzed WC Welker

Todd Lowrie is probably the only exception. :ninja:

  19. AVA T Delonge

Indeed, Eels were better than the 'Dogs apart from Todd Lowrie.

  20. Speirz DG Speirs

Pity a game goes for 80 minutes and not 40.

Okay, so being a soft cock in defence doesn't count as an aspect where we outplayed you? Giving away stupid penalties doesn't count? Even if you claim them as undeserved, you also said it was terrible refereeing both ways, so we simply capitalised on the opportunities better than the Dragons did.
