No. Of course, changing PA works with the RTE but when it's linked to something like post count you'll have people who move up and down post ranks which will either 1) not affect anyone if no one has reached it, making this pointless or 2) completely change their stats anyway, which makes CA a better thing to change.

Also, match experience is a large determinant on whether a player will have their CA increased so by only adjusting PA, you're letting the game determine CA, and therefore their skills for you. I don't think this is the direction you really want to be going. This is especially true when there are only a few games each season (compared to RL examples), so players won't actually be progressing much at all, making the first scenario I mentioned more likely.

 

Which is why I said this would have been more helpful before the new registrations. The way I would have done it, I would have done it so loosely, post rank would be linked to CA. And then people would be able to choose X number of attributes to boost (maybe a couple higher than others etc) and then let the game generate the rest, which would bring the luck element into it.

 

Right now, I reckon nothing. PA just isn't going to work for something like this for the reasons I pointed out above. CA would have been great if it was done before the regos. Now, it's nothing.
