    I knew this was on after I saw Daley on NRL on Fox the day after the preliminary squad was named. Daley's a selector and he pretty much just came out and said that Lyon would be picked in the final thirteen. I've mentioned this a few times before on this forum already IIRC.

    I'm unsure of where I stand on this. On one hand, I'm a huge fan of Lyon (the player, not the person).. I love watching him play and I have absolutely no doubt he's one of NSW's best two centres available. On the other hand, I'd really rather not have someone there if they weren't fully committed to the cause and passionate about beating Queensland. We all saw what happened last time Lyon played Origin without getting his head around it properly.

    In the end, I wouldn't pick him. What'll probably happen is that he'll get picked and I won't criticise it, but then he'll be completely ineffective and I'll whinge about how he shouldn't have been picked... :p

    Yeah, same. I posted the same thing on Rleague the other day. If Jennings is fit and plays well in CVC, I reckon it'll be Jennings/Lyon...
