    Lockyer had one of his best seasons in 06, and if anything, Shane Perry looked better because of Lockyer being there. Perry provided decent service, but he was far from being a long term or a regular choice.

    Our dearth of FG standard halfbacks made Perry seem a lot better than he was IMO. After Berrigan and Seymour, Jeff Robson would seem decent too.

    I still think Luke Stuart is by far the most underrated player. He is or was just as good as Snowden or Douglas (certainly better than King or Merrin) and can barely make CvC.
