New Zealand, GB and Vic in RLSim

Yeah, I put him on the bench as the utility because he can play lock + backs though. Harding can only play in the backs so he couldn't really play #17 as well.

WTF are you talking about Cribb?

    Oh, ****head.

I think an extended firsts comp will still promote activity much more, perhaps next season it might be a bit much of an ask, but after that I would say it would be much better to avoid a bye and to encourage activity by extending the firsts compitition.

A weak competition can't afford a bye. People from that team won't post.

GB to just play NZ the same time Origin's going on next season IMO.

  7. Callum CJ Laing

Yeah I think that would be a good idea. We would get it handed to us by NSW and QLD but within a few seasons we may be able to do a 4 way comp.

    Pretty simple solution.

Yeah I guess that could work. Would give a bit of something extra for those in reggies, knowing that no matter what round it is, they will be playing.

The firsts comp was just extended this season lol.

That's the plan tbh. Was going to do it this season. Well actually it was going to be a combined GB and NZ team but I would have figured out that there is enough for two teams when looking at the players eligible.

Never ever ever will State of Origin be defaced by Sheep Shaggers and Poms (unless they are playing for NSW or QLD).

  11. Callum CJ Laing

Why does it have to be State of Origin? Can you not do the same type of thing that Cricsim does and have both? Brits and Kiwis are going to be more interested if they are playing the top sides.

  12. Callum CJ Laing

    Definitely should.

  13. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah, could always just have Origin midseason and then have a four-way comp post-season, separate from Origin. Don't think anyone was suggested that NZ and GB actually compete in the Origin comp.

Can't see how that is relevant. The fact that the competition was recently expanded should not effect future expansion plans (unless there is some financial reason I am not privvy too). If it is too the benifit of the competition, expansion should at the very least be examined as an option. As I said it might not be for next season per-say but as a long term goal, I think, rather then looking to have an extended second grade competition it would prove much more benifitial to extend the first grade at least to six. This promotes activity; removes the need for a bye (which reduces interest for each team at least ever third round) and allows for more competition.

  15. Callum CJ Laing

Well that is what GYR thought I was suggesting.

I would agree that a goal should be to eliminate any need for a bye. I am not a fan of byes at all, unless you were to play the reserve side against them each round but then the reserves would get it handed to them all the time.

I am against having Origin mid season of RLSim. Unless it is extended. I would rather be picking the best from the season not from 5 rounds in.

Especcially if each team has played only a maximum of 4 of those games :ninja:

  19. Bedsey JB Dempsey

That's a faulty selection policy right there. :p

Having something similiar to the Jae Taylor running along side SOO would be good.

I know there are a couple of us Brits getting more active at the Cyclones aswell :)
