So Skippos has already played for South in RUSim then? Seems silly to make him change allegiance now to prevent him for playing for two teams later when in fact it'd actually force him to play for two teams now, especially given it'd make the squad balance poorer in both sims. He doesn't seem keen on the move either, so I think we'll class him as "South Australian" given he lives there and leave him as South, as long as no-one has any objections.
What I meant is that when Celtic Nations get proper provincial status in Cricsim, they will also immediately transfer to Celtic Nations in RUSim. If Celtic Nations don't have more than 15 players by then, they will not get Provincial games in RU Sim. We've also have the North/South issue with Chung. He played for South last season and is now ineligible as Asia have a Province. I'd rather get these guys moved sooner rather than later, so if Skippos is going to Celtic Nations (do we need an Asia style "Declare your eligibility for Celtic Nations" thread?) then I'll move him to North immediately and South have to deal with it.
Well Celtic Nations and England will be united as Britain for the JTC every season when that happens, so Britain will be like New South Wales is basically, with two teams in the PC but one team for the rivalry series. If you want to keep things consistent with CricSim, I'd just leave Britain as it was in SR - which basically just means that you'll have to move Morgan and Smink (and possibly Herd) to Britain when Celtic become a proper province.
I'd imagine the North/South split will have to be completely different for the AFLSim, an Asian, Qld and GB side would be demolished.
I don't really want players playing for North in one sim and South in another as it destroys any proper rivalry that may develop there; if AFL Sim can't manage a competitive North/South game then they'll have to figure out another way to split the players up. Victoria v Barbarians or something.
Yep - this. As much as a North/South split would be nice there'd be little rivalry (south v. active and keen, north wouldn't post) and little competition. I'll work something alternative out that doesn't blight the n v s idea.
Skippos, I'm going to let you choose between South and North. Do it as soon as you read this post so we can move on. You should technically be North, but only to stop you from playing for South now and North later - and you've already played for South in Seasonal Rugby, which defeats the purpose somewhat. So choose, and choose once.
Well it is, but everyone aligned with Scotland is also aligned with Britain at the moment, so it's all North and therefore wasn't relevant to this thread.
And to have him play for New Zealand and CricSim North would be a farce. And to have him play for Celtic Provinces and Seasonal Rugby South. It's basically a mess either way, so I'm just going to let him choose.
I think it's less of a farce for him to play South for FC and Celtic Provinces for OD than for him to play North and NZ both for FC.
