I don't know what a second row does. What should I look out for to see if I'm performing? Need to continue my dominance for NSW in all sims, so I'd like to know.
Do Second Rows have much impact in the scrums like they do in real life? Or are we restricted to being lineout specialists?
Nah, 2nd rows are critical to good scrums, unfortunately, I can't think of a way to come up with a stat that shows the impact of a single player on the scrum, so it's going to be very hard to prove how well each player is contributing at the scrum (other than the overall scrum stats showing how well the scrum as a whole worked) There are individual stats on balls won by each player at the line out (and times that each player steals the ball on the opponents throw) which will show effectiveness of the Locks. Also, Locks are important impact players in the Rucks and Mauls and in the tackle. Very important role, but the most visible impact in the simulator of a good Locking pairing will be in the line out stats.
In other words, a decent sized post count is the only way to know if we're any good? Challenge accepted!
