After having thought of this season as a complete write off after the last game - really, there's no excuse for finishing behind the Seahawks and Sabres - that's a surprisingly positive summation from the commish. It is certainly true that we have some talented players in reserve, and myself and Cribb have stepped up our games this year. So it's to next season, where we absolutely will be making the playoffs or else I retire. On that note - I need to know if you're staying. If you aren't staying, tell me now. If you are, tell me now. If you don't know, tell me now. Srs. As before, I don't really plan on going after anyone I don't explicitly need.
I can also reveal that I will not be leaving to join the Moustaches, despite Gazza's well thought out mass PM.
Gaz never asked me. But anyway, I either won't be re-signing for anyone or I'll re-sign for the Parrots. I won't be joining any other team.
I presume there's a new contract on the table for me? Will this sim ever get its own subbie? As in club subbies
Informed Howe of this but I may as well mention it in here as well. I'll be joining one of the new teams for next season.
Squad sizes being so small would make it a bit pointless, and it's nice to have all the open banter and team thread "trolling" at times too. Makes the sim a bit different, I like not having subbies and I think Mousey does too. It's no reflection on how the sim is seen by the site; it's actually been the number one sim on here for a little periods before.
I'm leaving next season, guys. Thanks for the opportunity and the help getting involved. I really got into it this season which I hadn't previously, and I don't think that would've happened at another club. I'm off to the Sabres, which was always somewhat of an inevitability once they came into existence I guess. I certainly don't regret my decision to stay here for another season though.
