How good are Yates and Ch00:3? I know Downes is a gun, but don't follow the sim enough to know the quality of the other signings. I assume they must be decent.
They're okay. Both borderline starters. Probably better off the bench, but if you've got two you can just play the hot hand.

I'm not convinced I'm first team quality any more, so one star, one first teamer and three fringies doesn't sound quite so positive as the initial feeling I had. Still, hopefully with Downes on board we're a step up from last season.
Chewie's a lot more than a borderline starter. Was on defensive team of the year and had an 8.0 MGR last season. Howe's a gun too and if Cock can pick himself up after a disappointing last season we have four genuine stars IMO.

I think having all these extra options will help Cock. You're an outside shooter so defence having to commit to Howe, Chewie and Downes you should get easier shots.
Thinking of training for this season - I think I might be better off with some specific training given how general training didn't help my chap move forward last season.
Finishing or outside shooting IMO. All we want from Cock is points points points I'm taking a more offensive role this season as well with Chewblocka at the back.
