Still, interesting post. *butttears coming* But seriously if we're severely overpaying three players and still come a comfortable second I think we're doing a good job. And let's be fair, with Morgan you're getting experience and leadership (just going a little outside the scope here and referring to recruitment and development of the squad/gm duties) as well as a 2nd teamer, capable on offense as well as the defensive player of the year. I mean like yeah if I was only defense then would be well overpaid but I combine the best backcourt defense with decent offense (monta ellis I guess) so I reckon I'm worth a bit of money. Not sure why you don't rate me at all Jabba. Like, yeah - I'm not the best, but surely being like the 10-12th best offensive and best defensive player in the league counts for something. I guess I'm not going to win games on offense which seems to be your criteria. *butttears over* Hall will definitely be worth the money if he repeats his S3. Also reckon if Diggler's wage is like 6M mine wouldn't be far off too. Assuming contracts weren't done over this offseason as otherwise Diggler would be on big money then mine should be pretty low too. In S3, my stats were: 34.3mpg, 11.5ppg @39%, 5.4rpg, 4.3apg I was pretty fucking shit. So, chances are I'd be on a low contract as a result. Improved massively this season.
Worth money compares self to one of the most inconsistent players in the league. You'd probably be worth like 14-15 but I rated you 22 cause I reckon you'd be the kind to stitch yourself up.
i.e. find the net but take lots of shit shots + pretty ordinary 3pt shooter like I don't watch near as much as you blokes but from the limited amount I have I thought that on offense that seemed an alright comparison. looking at the stats it seems pretty similar too.
