Phantoms

Speaking of playing basketball. I was looking for my Firearms Safety Certificate the other day in a draw where i've been throwing random documents and shit I've accumulated over the years and I found old basketball scoresheets from my last year at highschool when me and Shayne played in a 3 team competition between Carmila, Koumala and Sarina. The scoresheet for the grand final has Darren fouling me on the fulltime buzzer and me sinking 2 free throws as the last play of the game to win the match by 2 points, haha. Clutch.

 

Lol, you didn't either now that I look at the line ups. Justin, Yani, Chris, Harro, Brett and Darren did.

 

So I played basketball tonight. We played 4 on 4 with 4 x 10 minute quarters. We were all so bad in terms of basketball fitness. I find playing touch footy for an hour waaaaaaaay easier than running the court for 5 minutes >_>

My team got belted 38-19. I played alright. 15 points (1/2 3PT, 6/9 FG, 0/2 FT) 8 blocks, 1 assist, 1 steal, 4 turnovers and fucked if I know how many rebounds.

 

Yeah, they're on the score sheet.

 

Touch footy is probably the best in terms of enjoyment/fitness with a low injury probability.

 

There isn't one

The ref just tells us when we need to hurry up basically. Doesn't matter, the 2 younger guys on our team kept racing in once they got the ball and kept rushing shots and the younger guys on the opposite team did the same so we never really would have used 24 seconds anyway.
