How many CPL teams are there? I think only a small amount of teams from CFD will play in the CPL next season.
AWTA. I reckon that there'll be some Sydney Grade cricketers picked towards the end. I even think that there'll be heaps of blokes with simming averages > 55 and < 20. Ruan Pietersen might get picked again, ffs.
There are heaps of legit players still not picked with late thirties/40+ averages in batting and some adequate bowlers with middle 20s bowling averages all in the top divisions of their respective countries.
It's a shame that the squads have such an effect on first division, we could have introduced a relegation system.
I'm just going to start picking fringe CD players in the last three rounds if things get that big. Both because I'm biased but importantly I'll know who they are and what they're roughly capable of.
If we went with Athlai's 8 retentions and say there were 25 teams in total. Then 220 would be put back into the pool by the original 22 teams and 175 roughly would be retained. The total amount of players would only be around 450 so there is enough to stop the draft becoming ridiculous IMO.
Ingram will never be traded. It will take one hell of an offer to make me part with the guys I have in mind tbh.
No he doesn't tbh. I've got several favourite players i my side that I would like to keep being a foundation club and all.
