Basically it takes effort, it's all to easy to just go about and posting in threads but to sit there and sim games each round takes a bit of patience I'm sure. My point is if he wants a break let him have a break otherwise it'll just become too tedious for him and RUsim will be dead like Soccersim in the past etc.
It must be tough simming that weekly game, or perhaps fortnightly game . Nah good point, he's also done heaps of great work by getting a vastly improved simulator and testing all that out which would take time and effort. What I don't get is how is simming more games (Pre-Season tournament), rather then no games means that Season 2 isn't going to come any quicker?
I think the pre-season tournament is going to be super casual and then simming will pick up when the new season begins.
I agree with all the points Old Mate has just raised. The pre-season tournament will not be live, and there will not be any live simmage until Season 2. I have tried to even give you guys set days where you could expect simmage, in the past, and I have tried my best to make it regular. The period where there has been no simming was becuase I have been trying to find a new sim, and that has been taking all of my effort. We obviously needed a new one, and Season 1 has really just been the kick off season, and Season 2 is where it all starts imo.
I guess I'm keen for an auction system. Am interested to see whether club owners bid for quality posters or for quality players.
Happy with the little explanation from Eds. Season 2 should be awesome and for it's first season, this competition as been really good anyway. I always get impatient in regards to simming, especially as I am waiting to play in a grand final, but since I don't have to sim anything for anyone, I don't truly know, how much time and effort it takes.
Season 2 will be immense, im suprised at how much interest has been shown in this sim, never thought it would be this big.

Cool. Take my idea of getting the owners on at the same time for one hour or on msn or something so the auction is done fast.
What time of auction is it going to be. An E-bay style auction or a silent auction, where everyone sends in their bids secretly and the highest one wins with no room for someone to increase their bid. The second one is the better one in my opinion as it makes managers think how important a player is, and also I wont be able to do the first one.
