Given we don't have a stats site for this and, in all likelihood, won't until Season 4, does anyone think it'd be a good idea for Heath to have a stickied and locked thread whereby he posted each scorecard output with a link to the thread? Finding the scorecard in each match thread when you aren't following it live will become particularly difficult when this gets into full swing and the match threads are massive.
Yeah, good idea, for S3. Or just put it either in the S3 Schedule thread, or in the OP of said fixture.
Yeah I definitely agree. As you say with the large threads finding the final card can be a chore somewhat. I tend to read through the thread from the start of the game anyway, but I know many won't and will just be interested in the final outcome.
Well what I'd like to happen would be the stickied thread to have posts like this: ... Round: X Team A v Team B Code: Scorecard stuff etc etc Link: www.cricsim.com/showthread.php?id=YYZZ ... So we could see the scorecard, then click on the link to go to the thread and comment on the game without having to trawl through the thread.
This would be ideal. Makes looking up previous season stats much less of a hassle as well (for next season recruitment ect).
Can do, but I won't bother posting it in the match thread then. Not a fan of double-posting, but I don't think that'll matter too much.
I hate when you open a match thread and the vBookie says 'Win' next to the winner before you cant catch up.
Can always withhold pay-out for 24 hours - or separate the vBookie stuff into another thread. Not ideal to have multiple threads flying around for the same match though.
Is it at all possible to have a vbookie thread which could have multiple bets in it? Ie, you go there to bet for any games coming up, and the game gets played in a different thread...?
Yeah same, I often try to load the page and scroll down without looking at the top of the page so it doesn't ruin it for me.
