    Odds just bein' silly, we'll have this easy. Four spinners at Gunnstar for the Rays, not likely to work lads.

    Pretty sure Farny's on his last legs by now. Big game for him.

    It'd be more likely to be another allrounder come in for him if necessary. We have Heads and Devo both pulling up trees in second grade.

    Unexpected tbh. Don't think they've got the best bowling line up for the Asphalt 'Tangle. But clearly odds generator thinks otherwise. James and Cambridge will still be dangerous with the new ball, mind. And Botsy's been in good form in BS. We shall see.

    My heart tells me we should beat them by 400 but then my head says 500. With that said though we do have better bowling, batting and a better club in general, not too mention better form so it's hard to pick.

    I wouldn't say it's completely unexpected - the Stingrays bowling is excellent; the bowling quotient three above the stars and we've got Logan now in place of another bat, helps with the meds IMO as he's definitely one of the better batting ar bowlers (if that makes sense) around. We've got a bunch of lads yet to hit their peak - Mike, Logan, Das, Steve arguably dougy and myself, and we're an active bunch. The stars definitely have a few ageing players - arguably only Heef and to a lesser degree Storer have considerable upside it seems so they'll begin to naturally decline throughout the season. Factoring in the growth of us and the decline of the rays with 'age' it's understandable how we're favourites - 8 weeks ago I doubt we'd have been close.

    I still think the 'Stars experience will get them over the line, but it's definitely not unexpected for mine - and with guys like Howe, Prez and Heads in ALC, they've got perfect replacements for the ageing 'stars'
