    After a shock Asian victory yesterday, we move onto a bottom-of-the-table clash between Queensland and NSW Country. Both sides have the players to warrant higher positions than they are currently at, so this match is crucial for both teams if they hope to get to respectable positions.

    Queensland walk into the match as slight favourites, with the likes of Vago, Faithful and King all in good provincial form. Country, on the other hand, have no players in the top 15 for either batting or bowling. However, players like Taylor, Herd and Tyson are proven performers at all levels, and if they come right today it would go a long way towards getting Country their first points of the season.

    Players to watch:

    Queensland: Maroon Faithful is a proven performer in provincials, and his season 12 provincial batting average of 42 down at number seven, coupled with his bowling average of 26, will have NSW Country quaking in their boots.

    NSW Country: Ben Taylor has had a poor start to season 12 provincials, but his previous seasons' performances are sure proof of his quality. Country will be hoping he can get it all to click today.

    Our prediction: Queensland to sneak to a 30 run or 4 wicket victory, with Faithful winning the game for them with either bat or ball in the last innings.
